This is QUEST's flagship project. Balbhavans are school-supplementary learning centres attached to some Zilla Parishad Schools and some Ashram Schools in Wada Taluka.

Children from Grade 1 to 4 are given inputs in Language and Mathematics after or before school hours, through Balmitra, a specially trained village youth.

QUEST is one of the recipients of the Early Grade Reading Innovation Challenge Award from Center for Knowledge Societies (CKS) under READ Alliance. The READ Alliance is an initiative aimed at addressing the challenge of early reading inIndia. With support from CKS, QUEST has launched a new 3-year project from March 2015, for introduction of Lipi and Saksham activities in Ashram Schools.

QUEST - Magic Bus project

Location : 10 Ulhasnagar Municipal Schools, Ulhasnagar, Mumbai.

Duration : June 2015 to May 2018

This is a three year Project in partnership with Magic Bus India Foundation, funded by NSE,  to be implemented in 10 Ulhasnagar Municipal Schools. It will be implemented in 2 phases. 

In the preparatory phase (first year of the project), three Shikshak Mitras from QUEST will undergo training for Saksham Remedial program for Mathematics & Marathi for students from Grades 5 to 7. QUEST will also train 10 Youth Mentors of Magic Bus India

Quality Education Programme for KGBVs

Exposure to numerous and varied texts is essential for comprehensive learning of literacy, and indeed, lifelong learning of any subject. Active Library Program is implemented as a component in many of QUEST's projects and also independently.

The Project Associates are trained to work as Library Educators. In Wada block, the project is undertaken in two Ashram Schools.
